Why Mate Tea?

Made from pure green yerba maté leaves naturally rich in vitamins, minerals, and caffeine. With a flavor reminiscent of roasted walnuts, this matcha will leave you alert and ready to start the day. Unlike regular tea leaves, which are removed after brewing, matcha powder is whisked into water and consumed entirely, ensuring that your body is absorbing the highest concentration of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals possible.

Health Benefits

Contains 10X more health benefits than a cup of green tea, this cleansing drink also helps to speed up metabolism and aid with weight loss.

  • Rich in Antioxidants
  • Metabolism Booster
  • Lowers Cholesterol & Blood Sugar
  • Increases Alertness
  • Natural Detoxifier

Origins

Yerba mate is a South American beverage, but is also widely popular in Syria and Lebanon. It was first consumed in Brazil in the 17th century, and has been loved ever since, and was actually among Paraguay’s largest commodities at one point in time.

    Instructions

    1. Measure - add 1/2 teaspoon matcha into bowl
    2. Pour - add 8-10 oz. of water (just under boiling)*
    3. Whisk - Until frothy... Pour into cup and enjoy!

*tip: never use boiling water, instead boil water and let sit 13 min before pouring into bowl to avoid bitterness
